God Hidden and Revealed: Natural and special revelation speak loudly but we often aren’t listening.
Passage: Psalm 19
God is revealed in His works and His words and our response to both
Of all of God’s attributes perhaps none is more of a stumbling-block to faith than his invisibility. All of the different theories of God, his person, character, and being could be settled once and for all if he just came out of hiding, right?
The H.G. Wells novel The Invisible man illustrates pretty well how challenging it is to have a relationship with someone you cant see.
For the invisible man this is fine because he doesn’t like people, he relies on his hiddenness, but God— —God wants to reveal himself, wants to be in relationship with us—The question is, where should we look?
PSALM 19 has some answers for us.
