We are keeping our "social distancing" as a way to honor our Lord while we love and protect each other. Yet we still "gather" in our homes for worship and mutual encouragement thanks to Zoom and our folks behind the scenes getting it all set up for us.
This is what part of our church looked like Sunday mornings.
What a great "gathering" we enjoyed over the weekend.
Yes, though apart physically, we were together in Christ, connected through the internet. Given this was our first "live" experience, I thought it went really well. So many folks showed up to be together apart.
In the meantime, let us all be praying for and seeking intentional ways to help those impacted by the virus or by the safety measures imposed to stop its spread. We think especially of those who will become ill, lose out on needed income, or who work in hospitals or as first responders. If you find yourself in need, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the staff and elders
There were a number of families who brought their couch-full-of-kids to the worship service
